Kudory turns your résumé into a reusable Master Profile, then writes one tailored CV and cover letter per job from it. The short version of how it works: the job description decides what gets selected, ordered and emphasised, and your Master Profile is the only thing that decides what may be claimed.

Where the facts come from

Every factual claim in a generated CV or cover letter has to trace back to your Master Profile. A job description is not evidence about you, so nothing in a posting can become a claim about your experience. If the model suggests something your profile does not support, that suggestion is removed before you see it — it is not quietly shown and hoped for. You can open any generated sentence or bullet and see exactly which profile facts support it.

If you type a new factual claim yourself, it is marked “Needs a source”until you add it to your Master Profile. That is not a scolding — it is the only way the “nothing was invented” promise can stay true once you start editing.

Employer research is kept separate

Notes about a company live in the application’s Insights view, never in your CV or letter. Each claim there carries a link to the source it came from, and a claim without a usable source is dropped rather than shown. Insights are there to help you decide how to apply; they are never inserted into your documents automatically.

Drafts, sent applications and your profile

• Drafts can be edited, regenerated section by section, and refreshed when your Master Profile changes. A refresh always shows you the difference first.
• Sent applications are frozen. They record exactly what you sent — wording, template, and the profile version behind it — and updating your profile later never changes them. Applying again creates a new draft instead.
• Downloading a CV does not mark an application as sent. You say when it was sent.

Templates

Content and design are independent. Switching template changes only how your CV looks — it never rewrites a word and never re-runs generation.
